By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and Policies. Please read this information carefully before making a purchase.

Throughout this document, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to D’Lux Beauty.

About D’Lux Beauty

D’Lux Beauty is a New Zealand-owned online retailer offering luxury-inspired fragrances and fashion accessories.

Our goal is to provide quality products, clear information, and a positive customer experience.

Orders

All orders placed through D’Lux Beauty are subject to product availability and acceptance.

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation. This confirms we have received your order but does not guarantee acceptance.

D’Lux Beauty reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or refund an order where necessary, including:

  • Incorrect pricing or website errors

  • Product availability issues

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

  • Incorrect customer information

  • Misuse of our website or services

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, any applicable refund will be processed.

Pricing & Payments

All prices are displayed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

Prices may change without notice; however, confirmed orders will be charged at the price displayed at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed securely through approved third-party payment providers.

D’Lux Beauty does not store your full credit or debit card details.

Free “Mini Me” Tester Guarantee

At D’Lux Beauty, we want you to feel confident when choosing your fragrance.

For eligible first-time fragrance purchases, customers will receive a complimentary 5ml “Mini Me” tester of the same fragrance purchased.

Customers are encouraged to try the Mini Me tester before opening the full-size bottle.

If you decide the fragrance is not suitable, you may request an exchange for another fragrance provided that:

  • The full-size fragrance bottle remains completely unopened, unused, and in its original condition.

  • The full-size bottle is returned to D’Lux Beauty before a replacement is sent.

  • The exchange request is made within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • The returned product is received in a resalable condition.

  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.

The complimentary Mini Me tester:

  • Is provided for sampling purposes only.

  • Does not have any cash value.

  • Cannot be refunded or exchanged separately.

  • Does not need to be returned.

This guarantee applies once per customer on their first eligible fragrance purchase only.

D’Lux Beauty reserves the right to inspect returned products before approving any exchange.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, perfumes, beauty products, and opened or used items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind where:

  • The fragrance has been opened or sprayed.

  • The product has been used.

  • The product is no longer in its original condition.

  • You simply do not like the fragrance after opening it.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, leaking, or incorrect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Your name

  • Order number

  • Photos of the product and packaging

  • A description of the issue

Where required under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, D’Lux Beauty will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, refund, or another suitable solution.

These Terms do not limit your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

Product Information & Fragrance Details

D’Lux Beauty fragrances are luxury-inspired scents that are independently created.

Our fragrances are not manufactured by, endorsed by, affiliated with, or connected to any designer brand or trademark owner.

Any references to designer fragrances are used only to describe fragrance style and scent profile.

D’Lux Beauty perfumes are made using 99.9% perfumer’s alcohol, which is blended with fragrance oil to create the finished Eau de Parfum.

Because our perfumes contain alcohol, they should be handled and stored according to our Health & Safety guidelines.

Fragrance performance may vary between individuals due to:

  • Skin type

  • Body chemistry

  • Environment

  • Application method

D’Lux Beauty cannot guarantee that every fragrance will smell identical or perform the same way on every person.

We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images, colours, and fragrance information are accurate. However, colours may vary depending on your device, screen settings, or lighting conditions.

Ingredients may vary slightly between fragrances. If you have concerns regarding specific ingredients, please contact us before purchasing.

Health & Safety

Your safety is important to us. Please follow these guidelines when using D’Lux Beauty products.

External Use Only

D’Lux Beauty perfumes are for external use only.

Do not ingest or apply fragrance to broken, irritated, or damaged skin.

Patch Testing

If you have sensitive skin, allergies, or concerns about fragrance products, we recommend performing a patch test before regular use.

Apply a small amount to a small area of skin and wait 24 hours. Discontinue use immediately if irritation occurs.

Avoid Eye Contact

Avoid contact with eyes.

If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Seek medical advice if irritation continues.

Flammable Product

D’Lux Beauty perfumes contain 99.9% perfumer’s alcohol and fragrance oils, making them a flammable product.

Keep perfumes away from:

  • Heat sources

  • Sparks

  • Open flames

  • Other sources of ignition

Do not spray near fire or exposed flames.

Store perfumes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Keep Away From Children & Pets

Store perfumes safely and keep them out of reach of children and pets.

Pregnancy & Medical Conditions

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have allergies, or have a medical condition that may be affected by fragrance products, we recommend consulting your healthcare professional before use.

D’Lux Beauty is not responsible for reactions caused by undisclosed allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or failure to follow safety instructions.

Shipping

New Zealand economy shipping is $5.60 to non-rural addresses and $11.60 to rural addresses. Signature delivery is an additional $3. Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, location, weather, or public holidays.

D’Lux Beauty is not responsible for courier delays.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information when placing an order.
